8:30am – Project Winter Survival Volunteers Pack Survival Kits for Homeless.
Volunteers will kick off Project Winter Survival by packing 3,000 Winter Survival Kits with over 30 items in an assembly-line fashion.

12:00pm – Project Winter Survival Press Conference
Representatives from Engage and Change and Toronto Police Services will speak to the the dangers of living on the streets during the extreme cold weather, importance of Project Winter Survival, and the impact the kits have for the homeless in Toronto and the GTA.

Meet Mikki & Michael, a homeless mother and son who came out to Project Winter Survival to volunteer to help assemble survival kits for the homeless in Toronto.
